Growing up in a family of cooks and bakers, it was not hard for me to get sucked into the culinary world. After many years of self taught baking and cake decorating I wanted to get classically trained. I graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in baking and pastry and food service management. Although I am now out of school there is still so much more for me to learn and I am very excited to soak it all in.
I have always had an interest in the creative aspect of desserts. I love to go outside the box with flavor combinations and ideas. I feel as though that creative energy is my driving force in what I love to do and also what sets me apart from other bakers. I am not afraid to try new things and get a little weird with my baking. Nothing makes me happier than being able to create something you could never find in a store!
